A Colorado company has expanded the amount of items included in a recent recall of meat products, which include beef jerky and sausage.

Yauk’s Specialty Meats of Windsor, Colorado were found to have unsanitary conditions during an inspection by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, which included rodent droppings in the production and storage areas of the plant, on December 5. Now, at least five states will be affected by the recall: Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The affected items include:

-“Colorado Best Beef” brand various fresh, smoked and shelf-stable meat products
-“James Ranch” brand jerky and summer sausage
-“Rocky Plains Meats” brand hams, bacon, raw and smoked sausage, jerky and raw poultry
-“John Long Farms” brand fresh and smoked pork products
-“Horned Beef” brand jerky
-“Mile High Hungarian Sausage” brand fresh and smoked bacon and sausage

Consumers who believe they may have a product included in the recall can check the package for the number P-20309 inside the USDA Mark of Inspection. Other brands that may be affected include Heart Rock Bison, High Point Bison, Luc’s Pizza, Mountain States Poultry & Meats, Open A Bar 2, Schmidt’s Bakery & Deli, Wag’s Livestock, Wayne’s Specialty Meats, Windsor Dairy, Wyoming Pure Beef, and Yauk’s Specialty Meats.

Though no illnesses have been reported, the facility’s activities have been suspended and an investigation is underway.
