  • Mayim Bialik was a successful teen actress and you may remember her from the television show Blossom.

She is also a main character on the show The Big Bang Theory. Bialik has appeared in numerous films and TV shows over the years, but she recently announced that she will be returning to television as a game show host.

Bialik will be hosting the new Candid Camera show and said that she is excited to bring her unique views and sense of humor to the show.

Bialik was recently interviewed by TV Guide Magazine and asked why she thought she was chosen for a comedy show instead of something more serious like Jeopardy.

    Bialik answered,

“I appreciate that! I’m actually terrible at Jeopardy! This is a really neat fit, because they’re happy to have a female who’s interested in the larger issues. As Peter Funt, my producer and cohost said, “I’m more than just a pretty face.’”

She went on to talk about the show and how she felt about it.

“It is kind of a giant social experiment to see how people behave when there’s no logical explanation for why things are happening. It’s fascinating to see how people try to make sense of these gags,” she said.

“What’s nice about the show is that, if you can still hide cameras and create scenarios that are amusing to an audience and believable to the people who are participating, it doesn’t really need to change,” she added.

Candid Camera has been a hit in the past and dates back to 1947 where it started as a radio show.

The show involves using hidden cameras to capture random people dealing with outlandish situations.

Do you think the new show will be as good as the original?
