Madonna Apologizes for Using Racial Slur

  • Madonna has apologized for her use of a racial slur in a caption on her Instagram account. The singer actually used the word when talking about her son Rocco during one of his boxing matches. She claims she isn’t a racist and didn’t mean to hurt or offend anyone with her use of the offensive word.

Just a day ago, however, Madonna referred to those who called her out for her use of the racial slur “haters.”

It was Friday night when the pop singer posted a picture of 13-year-old Rocco boxing and captioned it as follows.

“No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out!” She then added her own variation of the N-word.

She deleted the post quickly as she was soon barraged with fellow Instagram users insisting her post was insulting.

In a statement Madonna issued–also via Instagram–she begged forgiveness from those offended by her use of the word.

“I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur…I am not a racist. There’s no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention. It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it’s a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me.”

    There was more, too.

“MY job is to inspire and bring people together . My message has always been about tolerance and non judgement. The last thing I want to do is bring chaos or cause separation in anyway. #revolutionoflove”

That message has now been removed from Instagram as well, however is now posted on her Facebook page instead.

This isn’t the first time fellow Instagram users have been offended by Madonna. She very recently posted photos of her 13-year-old son and his friends with bottles of liquor in their hands.

“No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don’t start the year off with judgment!”

What do you suppose Madonna will do next to offend others? It really doesn’t appear as though she cares at all. Instead she appears to think she is above reproach.

How sad that her children are growing up with this kind of mom as their main example.
