In today’s era of 24-hour news coverage, celebrity shows, and gossip sites, we often hear about celebrities hooking up and dating each other. And while sometimes the stories are true, other times they seem more like wishful thinking on the fan’s part.

Well now, the latest celebrity couple to hit the rumor mill are actors Lupita Nyong’o, from the film 12 Years a Slave, and Jared Leto, who’s been getting a lot of praise for his role in the movie Dallas Buyers Club, starring Matthew McConaughey.

According to the New York Post, Nyong’o and Leto were seen together enjoying some of the festivities surrounding New York Fashion Week, as witnesses have seen the two cuddling at one of the parties in downtown Manhattan.

“They were huddled at a corner table together looking very close,” a source for the New York Post revealed.

They were also seen at an after party for the SAG Awards in Hollywood, and again, they looked like they attended together, as opposed to showing up individually and meeting up once they got there.

Of course, neither actor has discussed their rumored relationship, but with Nyong’o being 30 and at the top of her game, and Leto being 42 and arguably having the best year of his career, some might say they would make the perfect Hollywood power couple.

In regards to her sudden rise in fame, Nyong’o said she’s been caught off guard because she had no idea 12 Years a Slave would be so well received.

“I didn’t know how, and we all didn’t know how the world would take this film,” she said. “It’s not easy subject matter. It’s heavy but it’s beautiful and you hope that people would at least open their eyes to see it–and then they did. So my first feeling was relief that it had been so well received and then they just kept receiving it and celebrating it and the conversation has been developing and shifting.”
