  • There will be no 13 seed over 4th seed upset in the west region of the NCAA tournament, as U of L holds on to beat Davidson. U of L’s defense stepped it up, only allowing Davidson to shoot 33% from the field. Davidson is known for their high scoring, and Louisville was able to snuff them with their zone.

    Peyton Siva led all scorers with 17 points, and picked up 6 assists. Chane Behanan earned a double-double, with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

    Louisville ended its two year streak of losing in the first round, and will go on to play the winner of the New Mexico & Long Beach St. matchup.

    U of L fans are excited just for getting to the third round, and Twitter is abuzz with jubilation…
