  • Lou Ferrigno’s wife this week accused comedian Bill Cosby of sexual assault. Carla Ferrigno told the Daily Mail that the assault occurred in 1967 when she was a teenager working as a Playboy Bunny at the Playboy Club.

Lou Ferrigno is an actor and former bodybuilder who is best-known for his role as The Hulk in the 70s TV series The Incredible Hulk. Ferrigno married Carla Green in 1980, his second marriage. The couple have three children together.

Carla Ferrigno told the Daily Mail that she met Cosby through a man who had taken her to dinner and later asked if she would like to meet the comedian. She then attended a movie with Cosby, his wife, and the man. She said that after the movie the group retired to Cosby’s home, where the alleged assault took place.

Ferrigno recounted that she was left alone with Cosby and that he grabbed her “roughly and pulled [her] hard to him.” She said that Cosby then kissed her “right in the mouth.” Ferrigno said that after words were exchanged she ran out of the room and down a hallway, where she found the man she had dinner with. She believes that the man knew what had happened and had in fact brought her into contact with Cosby for that specific purpose.

Ferrigno said that she had never told anyone, not even her husband, about the incident until now. She said that she feels “blessed” that things didn’t go further and that she was “smart to get away.” Ferrigno said that her husband didn’t want her to come forward, but that she did to set an example for other women and to be “one more nail in the coffin” for Cosby.

In the past few weeks several women have come forward with new sexual assault allegations against Cosby. Most recently former model Janice Dickinson stated that Cosby raped her in 1982.

These new allegations add to older allegations from women who said they were sexually assaulted by Cosby. In 2006 Cosby settled a civil lawsuit filed by a Andrea Constand, who alleged she was drugged and groped by the comedian.

Cosby has continued to deny all of the accusations. Last week the comedian’s representatives released a statement calling the allegations “decade-old” and “discredited.” The statement was later updated to specify that it did not refer to Constand.

Earlier this week an upcoming TV show starring Cosby was cancelled by NBC and Netflix announced that the release of Cosby’s latest comedy special has been delayed indefinitely.
