  • Lori Loughlin is loving her reunion with her old Full House co-stars. Work on the show’s reboot, Fuller House, started a couple of weeks ago. She is especially excited about seeing her Full House twins, Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, for the first time since the show ended.

“I had already reconnect with them on Twitter, so I knew what they looked like because I had seen images,” Lori Loughlin said.

“But it was great to see them again,” she added

Blake and Dylan called it quits in the acting field after Full House ended, but thus far have taken to acting like old pros.

“They’re fine. They’re actually doing a great job,” Lori Loughlin said, singing the praises of ‘Aunt Becky’ and ‘Uncle Jesse’s’ (played by John Stamos) twin boys.

Lori Loughlin went on to explain that the reunion show–which will be the first aired episode of Fuller House–will “cover a lot of ground,” and will effectively get viewers up to speed on what the characters have done in the past 20 years.

“We all have little snippets of things to do,” she said. “They’re trying to get a lot of ground covered in a short amount of time and reintroduce all the characters to everybody.”

Loughlin goes on to explain that even though the pilot episode features a reunion of all of the cast members (except the Olsen twins–Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), not all characters will appear regularly.

“Netflix bought a spinoff show called Fuller House with Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber. That’s what they wanted,” she explained. “They wanted all of us for the reunion show. Now they’re kind of saying, ‘Well, maybe you’ll come back and do another episode, maybe you’ll come back and do another episode.’ But they don’t want me, Bob [Saget], Dave [Coulier] and John [Stamos] for all the episodes. They want to do a spinoff show, which–it makes the most sense. You couldn’t really pick up that show and have us all living in that house. It’d be so weird. … You need to advance.”

Fans are no doubt hoping to see at least a cameo of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as Michelle Tanner. It’s uncertain if they will agree to this or not. They initially turned down the invitation to appear on Fuller House.

Lori Loughlin has a full plate in addition to a Full House reunion right now. In addition to her work as Aunt Becky on Fuller House, she is also starring in When Calls the Heart for Hallmark Channel, which was recently renewed for its third season, as well as Garage Sale Mystery for Hallmark Movies & Mystery.

Are you excited to see Lori Loughlin and the rest of the Full House cast reprise their roles for Fuller House? Episodes will air on Netflix in 2016.
