Over the years many people have claimed to have spotted the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland.

There have been numerous photos and videos of the sightings and just as many eyewitness accounts.

The Loch Ness Monster was recently spotted again, but this time the alleged sighting took place in England, nearly 150 miles from Scotland’s Loch Ness, where the monster is said to call home.

Ellie Williams claims to have captured photos of an aquatic creature that looks very much like the Loch Ness Monster. Williams is a photographer who was taking photos of England’s Lake Windermere and had turned her camera on automatic in order to capture images of the lake throughout the day.

It wasn’t until Williams was looking through the images that she realized that she had photographed something interesting.

There appears to be a large creature in the lake and it clearly moved throughout the photos.

“When I reviewed all the images I thought it might have been a swan or a goose, as I was looking at the image on my smartphone,” Williams told The Mirror. “I’m open to suggestions as to what the creature could be – I’m just glad I put the camera in the right place at the right time.”

Of course, there is no way of knowing if the creature Williams caught on camera is really a creature similar to the Loch Ness Monster or just a trick of the camera, but Williams says that she did not alter or edit the images in any way.

Other animals or creatures resembling the Loch Ness Monster have also been spotted in England’s lake district over the years, with the first sighting occurring in 2006.

England’s version of the Loch Ness Monster even has its own name, “Bownessie,” and also has its own Twitter account.

The creature is also considered a local mascot of the area.
