  • Lisa Rinna may soon be the new fan favorite on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills–at least according to E! News. The publication recently interviewed the former Days of Our Lives star and learned some intriguing things about the new and very unique housewife.

Rinna isn’t new to TV. In addition to playing Billie Reed on Days, she starred on Melrose Place and appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice. She even co-starred with hubby Harry Hamlin on Harry Loves Lisa. Now she’s one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“This is very close to doing Melrose Place without a script in your hand,” she said.

“Like everything in life, it’s all about timing. It’s funny, when I went on to Melrose Place it was year five. This is year five of Housewives…To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it’s been a really great gig for me,” she said, citing her time at home with her husband and children. “It felt right, to be honest with you…and I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure.”

In the trailer for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna is shown throwing wine and a glass at costar Kim Richards. She, of course, had to remain coy about the details, but did say, “I can’t say it’s anything I would have ever expected or imagined to ever have happen in my life…most of my friends have ever heard me raise my voice or get angry, really…what I learned is I am fiercely protective of my family.”

Are you a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan? Do you expect–as E! News predicts–that Lisa Rinna will soon be everyone’s new favorite housewife?

The new season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres Tuesday evening, November 18th at 8:00 P.M. on Bravo.
