Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson both star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Did you know they also share a soap opera past as well? Both starred on Days of Our Lives in long-running roles.

Lisa Rinna played the role of Billie Reed. Brother Austin married Carrie Brady of that infamous Brady family that inhabits most of Salem. Eileen Davidson plays Kristen DiMera, daughter of the evil Stefano DiMera.

Neither Eileen Davidson nor Lisa Rinna is on Days right now, but tend to play their recurring roles from time to time.

Something else the two ladies share is a special loathing for one or more main men they’ve played alongside in the past. For Lisa Rinna, that main man once played the beloved Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives. It wasn’t fan-favorite Peter Reckell, however.

“Days of Our Lives, 1992, I go in to read for my seventh soap opera,” Rinna says in a recent interview with SoapOperaNet.com. “I had already now, at this point, screen tested for seven soap operas. Seven! And I think that I’m never going to work in that world. So I go in to read for Billie Reed. I tested with Robert Kelker-Kelly (ex-Bo), and I got it.”

“I hated Robert Kelker-Kelly. Hated him with a passion,” Lisa Rinna confesses. “He hated me with a passion. There’s a secret for you. We were a volatile combination and it looked like love and sexual chemistry on camera. So that was some darned good acting right there.”

While Eileen Davidson admits she, too, has a most hated main man, she didn’t go as far as Lisa Rinna and divulge any names.

“I don’t think so,” she says. “That would not be a secret any more, would it?”
