  • Lindsay Lohan has had a rough few years. She battled an eating disorder as well as drugs and alcohol and spent more time in rehab and courtrooms than she did in front of the camera.

Lohan has spent the last several months trying to get her life back on track and it looks like things are finally looking up for the young actress.

Lohan looks healthier and has been concentrating on her career and hoping to make a comeback.

“She’s finally turning her life around,” a source close to Lohan said. “Linds says she’s going to prove herself as the star of this play. It’s a way to show everyone that she’s ready to work again – and actually be good.”

Lohan has said herself that she doesn’t want to be known for her mistakes, but her career and acting abilities instead.

“I want to be known for my talents and my work that I create, rather than a tabloid sensation,” she said.

Lohan has stopped partying and drinking and is even eating better. While there have been rumors that Lohan has fallen off the wagon and gone out drinking and partying on a few occasions, her close friends say that she is doing much better and making every effort to get her life back on track.

“She’s gained 15lbs in the last two months eating non-stop pizza and pasta,” a source said. “It’s not very healthy, but it’s better than her previous diet of booze!”

Lohan might not have much time for partying, because she will soon be making her debut at London’s West End in Speed-the-Plough.

Hopefully Lindsay will continue to make smart choices and will soon make the comeback she is hoping for.

Do you think Lindsay Lohan will ever be as popular as she once was?
