Linda Yaccarino is Twitter’s new CEO, leaving her position as Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships at NBCUniversal.

Elon Musk broke the news in a tweet:

I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!

@LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology.

Yaccarino may bring much needed stability to Twitter’s operations, helping it recover some of the advertising business it has lost since Musk’s takeover.
