  • Lena Headey is putting rumors to rest as she confirms that it is, indeed, a baby bump that she is sporting.

The actress, who plays the scheming Cersei Lannister in the immensely popular show, Game of Thrones, is already a mother to her son, Wylie, who is almost five.

Lena Headey, 41, had Wylie with musician Peter Loughran, whom she divorced in 2013.

The father of Lena Headey’s new baby is not yet known, and it may not be for some time.

The very private actress is calling for just that. Privacy.

She announced, via People, “I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer.”

She added, “I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.”

    New hat :))

We will see Lena Headey in season five of Game of Thrones, where there are sure to be some surprising twists.

Author George R.R. Martin was on hand at the Writers Guild West Awards to talk about the show, and what he said of the new season was completely unexpected. He said, “People are going to die who don’t die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy.”

He added, “So everybody better be on their toes. David and D.B. [David Benioff and D.B. Weiss co-creators of Game Of Thrones] are even bloodier than I am.”

Such an exciting time for Lena Headey!
