  • Lauren Graham and Netflix have confirmed what fans have dreamed of since 2007–Lorelai and Rory Gilmore are headed back to the small screen in a Gilmore Girls revival.

Taking to Twitter, Lauren Graham helped make those dreams come true.

Netflix made it official via Twitter, too, letting fans know that Alexis Bledel will return for what they are calling the show’s “final season.”

Entertainment Tonight confirms that in addition to Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, the Gilmore Girls revival will include original cast members Scott Patterson (Luke), Kelly Bishop (Emily), and Sean Gunn (Kirk). There has been no word on whether Melissa McCarthy will return in her role as Sookie St. James, but fans are definitely hoping she will.

With the REAL LIFE Lane Kim, Helen Pai. 🙂 Good things are coming… ❤️

The nine-year reunion of the Gilmore Girls cast will consist of four 90-minute episodes that will depict spring, summer, fall, and winter in one calendar year.

Are you excited to learn Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, and many of the original Gilmore Girls cast members will soon grace the small screen once again via Netflix?

Lauren Graham said goodbye to TV after playing Sarah Braverman on six seasons of NBC’s Parenthood.
