  • Lana Del Rey heats things up in her new music video, wearing a sexy bikini while swimming with her girlfriends. “Music to Watch Boys To” is the second release from her new album, “Honeymoon.”

The ladies don’t get credit for all the sex appeal in the music video, however. There is some hot testosterone at play, too.

It’s been a big year for Lana Del Rey. She traveled to Italy this summer where she attended the wedding of Monaco’s Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo. In August she released her new album.

Lana Del Rey even inspired her good friend James Franco to write a book about her. Flip-Side: Real and Imaginary Conversations with Lana del Rey is a 100-page book, co-written by David Shields. It is due out in March 2016.

This isn’t the first time Franco wrote about Lana Del Rey, either. He wrote a poem to her in V Magazine, called Shades of Cool.

“The only difference between Lana and me is her haunting voice. That carries everything. The voice is the central axle around which the spokes of everything else extend,” he wrote. “My axle, like her voice is for her, is my acting. Out of it, I do everything else.”

James Franco ended Shades of Cool with a quote from Lana Del Rey.

“I wanted to interview Lana for a book and she said, ‘Just write around me, it’s better if it’s not my own words. It’s almost better if you don’t get me exactly, but try.'”

James Franco must be enamored with Del Rey’s most recent music video.
