However, their relationship was subjected to additional pressure after Stewart was photographed kissing married Rupert Sanders, who directed Snow White and the Huntsman.

Stewart released the following statement shortly after the incident: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” At that time members of the fan community mourned the end of a young, popular Hollywood couple. However, fans may have prematurely written off the relationship.

After the couple went separate ways, debates raged over whether the relationship had permanently ended. (I know, aren’t there better things to do?) However, according to an inside source who spoke exclusively with HollywoodLife.com the two popular Twilight stars may unite to celebrate New Year’s together. “She really wants to go to the Isle of Wight with Rob, and it’s a possibility they may celebrate the New Year there, like they have in the past. This is how she wants to bring in the New Year – in a pub, drinking beers, laughing, listening to music with Rob.”

However, do not expect the two to spend Christmas together. The source went on to explain, “Kristen has decided that she won’t spend Christmas with Rob in London because she knows he will be with his family and she doesn’t feel welcome by them, even though Rob invited her. If she goes to visit Rob in England, it will be after Christmas.”
