Did Kris Jenner really pay French Montana to date her daughter, Khloe Kardashian? That’s most certainly the rumor going around. Sources at E! reportedly said that Kris offered French Montana big bucks to appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

French Montana has been dating Khloe Kardashian since May. Does that mean he’s not really crazy about the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star? Is he sticking around simply to cash in on Kris Jenner’s offer?

Montana has already appeared once on the reality show and is expected to appear a few times on the upcoming show Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons as well.

“The way that the Kardashians’ (show) is set up is very unusual. It’s the only show that I know of where a producer can say, ‘Here’s the cast and this is what they’re getting paid,’ ” a source told the New York Daily News. “Usually to add a cast member to a show, you’d have to fire a cast member to keep the budget balanced. But in this case, Kris just offered French Montana a check to be in the show.

“He’s expensive, and some people at E! just don’t think he’s worth the money. I’ve heard execs moaning about it, saying, ‘We’re just paying so much for him!’ ” the source added.

Even worse than the fact that a mother would set her daughter up for money is the notion that a mother would play with a daughter’s heart like this. Kris Jenner has long been thought of as a manager first and a mother second–thus earning the often-used-by-the-media title of ‘momager.’

Khloe Kardashian went through a lot when she split from hubby Lamar Odom. How might she feel when she learns that the ‘Excuse My French’ rapper is dating her for the paycheck only?

Might it be possible that Khloe Kardashian is in on this supposed deal? Is the whole relationship nothing but a made-for-TV charade?
