  • Kim Kardashian has never been a shrinking violet when it comes to her image, going bold in just about every fashion choice she makes, but her new hair color is making waves in Paris this week.

Kardashian debuted a platinum look at Fashion Week, just days after sister Khloe showed off her own lightened locks, and the web is buzzing about it. It’s not the first time she’s gone blonde, however; in fact, it’s reported that Kanye prefers it. Kardashian has said that he asked her if she would ever go light again after she had their daughter, North, but she declined to do it right away because she thought she was too puffy.

“He asked if I would ever go back to blonde. I was like, ‘Not right after a baby, because my face was so swollen and it looked like my lips were huge. My face was just off,” Kardashian said.

The reality star didn’t change her dark brows to match, saying they are important to her look.

“Eyebrows for me are always really important. I didn’t know how much they shape your face and how different they make your face look. I met Anastasia [Soare] and she was just begging to do my brows and I was like ‘Eh, I don’t know,’ and after she did it changed my life. It literally looked so different. Generally I think that they have a good shape. I love where my eyebrows are going right now,” she told People Magazine.

I'm in love with my blonde hair!!! @traceycunningham1 you killed it with this color!!!
