  • Kim Kardashian had yet another scary experience on the red carpet on Thursday when she was tackled by someone as she arrived at an event for Paris Fashion Week.

The reality star had just stepped out of the limo with her mother, Kris Jenner, in tow when someone attempted to tackle her by grabbing her legs. Kardashian stumbled against the car door and yelled out something–presumably to husband Kanye West, who had just exited the other side of the vehicle–but her attacker was quickly thwarted by bodyguards. The person in question is reportedly red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk, the same man who ran up to Brad Pitt at a recent event and allegedly punched him in the face. Sediuk has said that he never hit Pitt, and that he was only trying to hug the star. However, he’s had run-ins with Will Smith, America Ferrera, and Leonardo DiCaprio before.

“I was at the end of the line signing autographs, when out the corner of my eye I saw someone stage-diving over the barrier at me. I took a step back. This guy had latched onto my lapels. I looked down and the nutter was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head – not too hard, but enough to get his attention, because he did let go. I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses,” Pitt said after the incident.

Kardashian is no stranger to weird/scary incidents on the red carpet; in March of 2012, she was accosted at a launch party for her perfume True Reflection when a woman ran up to her and threw an entire bag of flour on her. The reality star shook off the incident, but it’s unclear what will happen after today’s events.
