Khloe Kardashian won’t abandon Lamar Odom as her family gets ready for their over-the-top Christmas celebrations.
A source close to Khloe Kardashian admitted that “the Lamar situation still weighs on Khloé. She’s not one who just walks away.”
The source added, “She’s going to be there for him, but she also needs to start focusing back on herself – and she knows that.”
Of course, much of her focus will still remain on Lamar, who called Khloe Kardashian his “soulmate” in a recent interview.
On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian said of the interview, “I don’t get why Lamar is saying this and making things so public right now. I think it’s so out of character for him. I’m so confused.”
She then said, “Lamar is all talk and no action. For two years I have wanted Lamar to try. For two years I have wanted Lamar to show me some effort but nothing ever changes.”
She added, “Sometimes we lose our soul mate and that’s OK.”
Despite the divorce that’s pending at the moment, her confusion over why he would call her his soulmate and her rant over his lack of effort, Khloe Kardashian has vowed to be there for Lamar every step of his recovery.
Back in October, Khloe Kardashian said, “The fact that he woke up was definitely a sigh of relief for everybody. Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down but he’s awake. He’s alive and that’s all I wanted, was for him to be okay.”
She added, “There is a very long road ahead of him. He has to walk that road by himself, and, most importantly, he has to want to walk that road. I will be there supporting him every step of the way.”
