Despite having filed divorce papers in December 2013, Khloe Kardashian is dealing with the fact that her husband of five years, Lamar Odom, is aiming to win her back. Rumors have surfaced that Kardashian is considering reconciling with Odom even after kicking him out for cheating on her and using drugs. Odom’s intentions to woo Kardashian again were revealed after she reportedly split from her boyfriend, rapper French Montana, because he was “needy” and “dependent” on her.

A source spoke to HollywoodLife.com and said that Khloe is flattered that Odom is still in love with her, but that she’s afraid of getting hurt again. “Fact is: She’s not ready. That’s not a yes. And it’s not a no. She doesn’t know what to do with the situation. Does she love him? Of course. Does she want a family of her own? Absolutely. Does she miss being married to him? Indeed. But she’s also scared and doesn’t want her heart broken again,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Odom reportedly believes that his wife’s breakup with the Moroccan-born rapper has only made it easier for him to be her husband again. “He knew that wasn’t going to last. French was there so she could get her mind off Lamar. We all know that. He did his job, played the role he was supposed to play, and now he’s gone. Just like that!” added the source.

Kardashian and Montana started dating in April, but the couple broke up because “the relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back,” a source told Us Weekly. In July, another source revealed that Montana was so smitten with Kardashian that he was already thinking of proposing to her.

However, Montana seems to be in good spirits even after the breakup. He told People at a fight weekend party held at Hard Rock Hotel’s Vanity Nightclub on Friday,  “I’m feeling great. Feeling great and looking even better.” Montana reportedly partied with singer Justin Bieber and was seen in the company of a mysterious blonde woman at the Las Vegas venue.
