Kelly Clarkson shared a secret with Ellen DeGeneres on Friday, regarding the baby names she and hubby Brandon Blackstock have chosen for their unborn baby. She divulged that whether the baby is a girl or a boy, the name will be the same.

“I just want to know [the baby’s sex],” Kelly told Ellen. “And it doesn’t even matter because, honestly, the name we’ve picked, if it’s a boy or a girl, it’s the same name.”

Ellen tried guessing–throwing out names like ‘Pat’ and ‘Chris,’ but Clarkson assured her she wasn’t going to guess the name.

She did assure her, however, that their baby’s name wouldn’t be a trendy Hollywood-type name.

“You won’t guess it. It’s a random name. But it’s not like … ‘Blue Jazz.’ It’s not going to be a weird name,” she said.

Do you think Kelly Clarkson just threw out an unintentional diss to Beyonce and Jay-Z, whose daughter’s name is Blue Ivy? That could certainly cause some sparks to fly in the music world! Clarkson’s own sparks are flying—wthin her body, that is. She hasn’t felt great during this first trimester.

“I vomit a good dozen times a day. It’s bad,” she says. “Everybody tells you you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That is total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out, it’s not all lush and beautiful, and I have no glow — unless it’s something left over from a bad throw-up. It’s horrible.”

Kelly is busy promoting her new Christmas album. Called Wrapped in Red, it is fast climbing the music charts. Between its success and the impending excitement of the bundle of joy she’s expecting, she should be feeling much better very soon.

Even Twitter has gotten in on the Kelly Clarkson baby name guessing game.
