Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are two of the biggest pop stars in the country, so it was only natural that they run into one another at awards shows and various functions. The pair seemed to have formed a friendship at one point, but now, after an interview with Swift was released in which she talks about a fellow entertainer who injects barbs into every conversation, rumors are flying around the web that she was talking about Perry...and Perry did nothing to quiet the rumor mill with a certain tweet this week.
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'" Swift told Rolling Stone. "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."
According to Gawker, Perry did have some of Swift's dancers approached about joining her for some shows while they were in the middle of a tour. And as soon as rumblings of a feud hit the web, Perry took to Twitter to lay this little gem on us:
Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing...

Swift said in the interview that her song "Bad Blood" is about this person, but there is some speculation about whether it's all just business-related; both women dated John Mayer, and Swift's song "Dear John" is reportedly about him.
