Katy Perry once prayed to God for large breasts and it seems the Almighty answered her prayer. She happily shows off her all natural assets on the February cover of GQ magazine, as well as in some of the pages inside.

The pop singer and sex symbol–once married to Russell Brand and now in a relationship with John Mayer–sings to sold out crowds around the world and makes millions with her music, as well as everything on the retail market related to it. The daughter of a preacher, Katy grew up singing in a church choir and led a fairly sheltered life before breaking on to the music scene.

Katy’s prayer for big boobs made the GQ spread, as well as a tweet from the magazine itself.

Perry has long been a symbol of empowerment for young women, and continues to encourage them to Roar. If she doesn’t start making more intelligent comments, however, those roars are going to become desperate cries for help. Katy came under fire recently for donning yellow makeup when dressing like a geisha during November’s American Music Awards. Here’s what she said about the controversy as quoted in her GQ article.

“I was thinking about unconditional love, and I was thinking: Geishas are basically, like, the masters of loving unconditionally.”

It gets worse, too. She called Japan the “the capital of adorableness.”

“All I was trying to do is just give a very beautiful performance about a place that I have so much love for and find so much beauty in, and that was exactly where I was coming from, with no other thought besides it.”

God certainly blessed Katy Perry with an amazing pair of breasts, and ample musical talent, too. When she opens her mouth to sing, that talent is resounding. When she opens her mouth to speak, however, her agent and managers must cringe with what occasionally comes out.

Maybe Katy’s next prayer should be for some common sense and conversational finesse? God, are you listening?
