Kate Hudson isn’t going to tell you whether or not she’s dating Nick Jonas – but she will tell you how ridiculous it is that just being spotted with someone sparks so many rumors.

The actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live and was immediately asked about her love life.

“I don’t like addressing any kind of gossip,” said Hudson in response to the dating rumors.

“My agent has been my mystery man maybe 25 times,” she continued. “Honestly, you just can’t like, hug someone, or talk to someone without it ending up being a thing.

When host Andy Cohen told her it was his wish for her and Jonas to be an item, Hudson responded,

“I’ll keep that in the back of my mind.”

Back in September Hudson and Jonas were spotted at Disney World together. She also attended one of his concerts at the House of Blues and then went to brunch with him the next day.

That got the rumor mill turning, as you’d expect.

Though she didn’t reveal much about her dating situation on WWHL, she did confirm that she probably, at some point, smoked pot with Matthew McConaughey.

I mean, at this point, who hasn’t?
