Will Kate Gosselin marry millionaire boyfriend Jeff Prescott? Kate told E! News in a recent interview that daughter Leah, one of her sextuplets, told her she should get married again–but didn’t specifically cite Prescott as her mom’s future husband.

Kate Gosselin admitted during that interview that yes, she has reached a place in her life where she would consider settling down again.

“My kids still talk about it all the time. Our microwave broke like a week or so ago, and I was trying to take it out, you know, it’s like mounted into the thing, and I was trying to get it out and the kids were eating dinner and I have my screwdriver out and Leah said, ‘And this is another perfect example of why you should get married again!'” Kate shared.

Things don’t seem to have changed much in recent months between Kate and her ex-husband Jon Gosselin. When asked what the situation between them was, she had the following to say.

“He lives his life. I don’t talk to him. I don’t know. I don’t hear much,” she said. “Some of the kids visit him occasionally and it’s the same. [I’m] just keeping the peace. The same, no difference.”

Kate Gosselin was reportedly first spotted out and about with Jeff Prescott this past fall, when filming for Celebrity Apprentice began. The two were seen together in New York City.

In Touch reported earlier on Tuesday, however, that maybe Jeff Prescott isn’t the right man for Kate Gosselin. In new documents they have obtained, the publication learned that Prescott and his then-wife of 19 years went through a very messy divorce, during which she detailed his violent ways.

“According to the document, in 2005, police came to their Barnstable, Mass., home to settle a dispute after she claimed Prescott had flown into a jealous rage. Then in 2006, Jones alleged that Prescott “threw me against a wall … put both hands around my neck and told me, ‘I will f—ing kill you,’” during a heated argument in a Tennessee hotel room,” In Touch reports.

A source tells them that despite his messy divorce and accusations on behalf of his ex-wife, Jeff Prescott is trying to ‘make a good impression’ on Kate.

Hopefully Kate Gosselin is well aware of her millionaire boyfriend’s past and checks things out thoroughly before even considering him as ‘the one.’ Even at daughter Leah’s insistence, she doesn’t need her microwave repaired that badly.
