Kate Gosselin is reportedly dating a new man, and it’s said that he’s even a millionaire. Might there be any truth to this rumor?

E! News says yes, there is. They report that the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star is dating 51-year-old businessman Jeff Prescott–and has been doing so at least as far back as October.

Prescott is a divorced father of three, and is the CEO and co-founder of Dreamstime, an Internet-based stockpiler and supplier of digital images for media outlets and both corporate and personal clientele. Back in 2007, the Brentwood, Tennessee-based company’s value was heading upward of $15 million—and Prescott told the Nashville Business Journal that year that Dreamstime was worth $25 million to $30 million.

Sources tell E! that Gosselin and Prescott were spotted in public–in New York City, to be exact–in October, when she was there filming Celebrity Apprentice. It seems the two have been careful not to be seen in public too much together, as both would like to evade the paparazzi as much as possible.

Kate Gosselin has said in the past that she is very particular about what kind of man she would deem worthy of being around her eight children. It seems like Jeff Prescott’s credentials might just meet her strict criteria, however. He’s president of the Deaf Children’s Foundation, Octagon Sports Nutrition and the Nature’s Youth Fit Kids Foundation, as well as director of Nature’s Youth. It sounds like the dad of three might just be worthy of being a stepdad to eight more, should the relationship get that far.

It was just over three years ago when Kate Gosselin told E! News that she was trying to be “a little more open-minded” when it came to allowing a new man into her life.

“If there’s anyone out there who wants to deal with us,” she said at the time, referring to the chaos that comes with having eight kids and being a former reality star, “that would be good.”

Might Jeff Prescott fit the bill for Kate Gosselin? Will the paparazzi soon start filming the two together because they won’t be able to stand being apart?
