Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker feel like first-time parents after welcoming their son Ace Wells.

Burruss, who struggled to get pregnant before resorting to IVF treatment, welcomed their newborn son on January 6, but for them it was worth the wait.

“We really worked hard for him,” she recently told People. “It was a long process and lots of needles.”
Kandi Burruss says they felt like first-time parents ever since Ace Wells came, even though she and Tucker already have daughters from previous relationships- Riley, 13, and Kaela, 19.

“It’s like starting all over,” shared the reality star. “We were like, ‘Which bottles do we use? What diapers do we buy?’ Simple stuff that you would think I already know and I don’t. It’s silly.”

Since they already have two daughters, Burruss was really excited to have a baby boy in the family. “I always wanted a boy so we were super excited because we have two girls and they give us much attitude. We were looking forward to having a boy,” she said.

In fact, they have already decided on their baby’s nursery décor. Ace Wells’ room was safari themed because the reality stars met in Africa, said Burruss. “It’s safari chic. Safari clean,” Tucker said of their baby’s nursery.

The proud parents have begun sharing the first public photo of their newest family member. Kandi Burruss shared her baby’s cute snaps on his own Instagram account on her personal page. Todd Tucker also shared a cute snap with his son on his Instagram page.

Kandi Burruss is currently a cast member of Real Housewives of Atlanta. The Bravo TV reality show is scheduled to air its two-part reunion on March 20 and March 27.
