  • “Either it’s going to fizzle out, which seems likely, or they get married.”

American actor Justin Theroux and Friends star Jennifer Aniston have been together since 2011, but it seems that their relationship may soon be heading toward splitsville. In fact, the two have not been seen together since Christmas 2013 when they sported their hot bods on a trip to Cabo with friends Courtney Cox, Howard Stern, and Jimmy Kimmel.

“It’s absolutely indicative of the status of Jen and Justin’s relationship,” a source told Radar Online. “There is absolutely no wedding talk or planning going on. Publicly the couple is saying it’s because they are just too busy with work, but if they wanted to get married, it would happen.”

On Febuary 7, Aniston did not attend the funeral of actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman with Theroux, but instead decided to stay in L.A., despite the fact that she and Hoffman were friends and performed together in the film Along Came Polly.

“Justin asked Jen to come to New York City but she declined, citing the cold weather. She wanted to be in sunny Southern California with her friends,” the source said. “The fact that Jen didn’t go to New York for Philip Seymour Hoffman’s funeral and to comfort Justin is another sign that their relationship is in trouble.”

A spokesperson for Aniston said that she did not travel to New York due to ongoing talks about an independent film; however, the deal did not require her to stay in Los Angeles.

Less than a week later, on February 11, the 45-year star spent her birthday at L.A.’s Soho House in the company of her best friend, Courtney Cox, Toby Maguire’s wife Jennifer Meyer, and Jennifer’s hairstylist Chris McMillan. Her fiance was no where in sight, though he was seen filming his new HBO show, The Leftovers, in New York that day.

The couple first announced their engagement in August 2012 but, according to Yahoo News, Aniston has admitted that she is in no hurry to get married.

“We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job,” she said.

Fans of the couple are waiting to see if the two will attend the Oscars together on March 2 as they did last year. Perhaps that will be a further indicator of the future of their relationship.
