Justin Bieber is cooking up something special, and it seems to be his love for Selena Gomez. The couple–once known as Jelena–dated pretty steadily for a couple of years starting back in 2010. They officially split in 2012, but have seen one another off and on during that span of time. Now it seems the ‘Baby’ singer and the Spring Breakers star are a bona fide couple once again, with rumors of permanence in the wind. In addition for his love for Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber was actually spotted–via an Instagram clip he posted to his account–cooking up something in the kitchen for her in recent days.

“Lol chef bieber,” Justin captioned the clip.

You’ll see a very pleased looking Justin surrounded by some rather fresh and healthy looking ingredients–wielding a knife that looks like it cost a pretty penny in a posh kitchen store.

It may be a bit difficult to understand all of what Justin Bieber is saying in the clip, so here’s the scoop.

“As you can see, I’m cooking organic chicken breast,” he says, pointing to the bits of simmering chicken.

“Chop it up, chop it up,” he says next.

“I know what I’m doing,” he says, jokingly pointing the knife toward Selena. “Hey, step away from the stove.”

Selena Gomez isn’t visibly discernible in the clip, but the L.A. Times reports that it is in fact the ‘Come & Get It’ singer and former Wizards of Waverly Place actress in the kitchen.

Do you suppose Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will really make a go of it this time? The two have long been positively adorable together, but Selena couldn’t deal with Justin’s ridiculously childish–not to mention illegal–ways.

Some outlets report that the two will soon be moving in together.
