June Shannon, the matriarch of TLC's reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, is denying claims that she is dating a registered sex offender.
June posted a lengthy comment to Facebook, explaining that you can't believe everything the tabloids tell you and that her kids are her number one priority.
"I want to make a post trying to clear up the rumors remember you can't believe everything you read!" June, also known as Mama June, wrote.
"Ppl sell stories to the tabloid everyday that r false! It isnt true i promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn't go back," she added and then linked to an article by Radar Online.
On Thursday, October 23, TMZ reported that June had rekindled her romance with her ex Mark McDaniel, who is a registered sex offender that has spent the last ten years in prison. However, June says that these allegations are completely false, and her children are backing her up.
Lauryn Shannon, also known as "Pumpkin," said that her mother hasn't seen or talked to McDaniel in over ten years. “They story is not true. My mom left Mark 10 years ago,” the 14-year-old said. “They haven’t seen nor talked [to each other] in 10 years.”

“She is all about the kids. She only needs us girls, no one else,” Lauryn explained of her newly single mother. “We are all sticking together as one happy family with us four girls.”
TLC has reportedly cancelled the show due to the current allegations.
