  • Josh Duggar will be noticeably absent when his cousin Amy Duggar marries Dillon King later on Sunday–and according to a source close to the former 19 Kids and Counting family–that’s how it should be.

“That’s the way it should be,” the source says. “Everything with Josh was like a death in the family. They’re hoping Amy’s wedding day can be an escape–a much-needed day of happiness.”

Josh Duggar cost the family their TLC reality show when his sexual molestation scandal hit the media this past spring. Just about the time the media stopped publishing daily reminders of Josh’s past, yet another sex scandal involving Josh Duggar made news. It was discovered that Josh had two Ashley Madison accounts when the cheater’s website was hacked. He soon admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to having cheated on his wife, Anna Duggar.

A porn star/stripper named Danica Dillon has since come forward and explained how she and Josh Duggar engaged in rough sex on more than one occasion.

It’s probably a very good idea that Josh Duggar won’t attend Amy Duggar’s wedding. Amy even admitted recently that she can’t wait to marry Dillon King–in part so she can change her name from Duggar.

It remains to be seen if Josh Duggar’s wife Anna will attend Amy Duggar’s wedding with the rest of the 19 Kids and Counting clan. Jill Duggar Dillard and her family have returned home from their missionary work in Central America to celebrate Amy’s big day.

The family source seems to think Anna Duggar will attend. It might even be a happy occasion for Anna as Amy Duggar plans for the day to be very lighthearted.

“She really wants this to be about love and the future,” the source said. “No one is quite sure how Anna will be or how long she’ll stay, but this day is about support and positivity.”

Do you expect even without attending that Josh Duggar might be that proverbial elephant in the room at Amy Duggar’s wedding?
