Jill Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame, enjoyed date night at P.F. Chang's with her hubby Derick Dillard on Sunday. Expecting their first baby--a boy--the couple knows that these date nights allow for precious time to enjoy simply being a couple. As all parents know, eating with chopsticks and whispering sweet nothings into one another's ears doesn't have the same impact with an infant in tow.
As with most everything Duggar, Jill Duggar shared the date night with her followers via Instagram.
"#datenight with my amazing hubby @derickdillard #soinlove #19kids #PFChangs #jillmdillard,” she captioned the following post.
Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard aren't lamenting the fact that date nights will reduce to a minimum once their baby (they're having a boy) arrives, however. They are thrilled to be experiencing Jill's pregnancy and look forward to their foray into parenthood.
“We were super excited," Jill Duggar said when they first learned she was expecting. "We prayed together, and thanked God for this new little life. I was screaming and everything," she admitted. "He was like, 'Don't get too excited! You might stress out the baby or something.' He's so cute. He's so sweet."
It was very early in the pregnancy when Jill and Derick shared their exciting news with the media. Many couples wait until after that four-week mark, when the majority of pregnancies are deemed more viable by their physicians.
"Believing that life begins at conception and that every life is precious no matter how young, we would--even if there were to be a miscarriage--we would still want that child to be recognized," Jill Duggar said at the time.
Jill Duggar Dillard and the entire 19 Kids and Counting family strongly supported the March for Life rally that took place at the state capitol in Arkansas recently. Sister Jessa Duggar and her new husband Ben Seewald attended the rally. Jill posted a video in support of March for Life on her Instagram page, asking for people's support for the pro-life cause.
Hopefully Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard treasure their date nights at places like P.F. Chang's, because--as most parents know--they won't be nearly as frequent once their baby boy arrives. It doesn't seem as though that will be a concern for this young couple, however, as they seem to have parenthood on the very forefront of their hearts and minds.
