  • Jill Dillard has been relatively low-key on social media since her brother Josh’s molestation scandal came to light, but she did break her internet silence to post a few new shots of baby Israel on the Dillard Family blog recently.

Jill and her husband, Derick, started their own blog apart from the Duggars’ site and have used it to keep fans updated on how the baby is doing. They’ll also reportedly give information on how to help Nepal after a devastating earthquake, and revealed on the season finale of 19 Kids And Counting that they will be taking their first mission trip as a family to help those affected by the tragic event.

Jill and sister Jessa were two of the victims of Josh’s sexual abuse when he was a teenager, and both women sat down for an interview with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly recently to discuss their story and how it was being told after a police report from that time was shared on the web.

“We didn’t choose to come out and tell our story. But now that this story has been brought about, we really feel like—as we’ve been seeing these headlines—we feel like, as victims, we have to come out and speak. This is something that we chose to do. Nobody asked us to do this. Most of the stuff out there is lies. It’s not true. And so for truth’s sake we want to set the record straight,” Jill said.

While it’s not clear what the future holds for Jill Dillard and her growing family, TLC has dropped 19 Kids And Counting from their lineup but have not released a statement on whether they will lose the show altogether. There have, however, been rumors that Jill and Jessa will get their own spinoff show soon.
