  • Singer and actress Jessica Simpson has just posted a new set of adorable photos of her two children Maxwell and Ace, and by the looks of it, and based on her recent interviews, it’s evident that she’s head over heels about her kids, and she’s currently in that same blissful state that a lot of young mothers find themselves in.

The photos that have gone the most viral in the past couple of days are of little Maxwell crouching near a bush of roses, as she touches a nearby plant and poses for the camera.

And based on the message that Simpson wrote next to the image, her daughter was trying to take a little nibble of the flowers.

“Stop and smell the roses Maxi,” she wrote. “Don’t eat them. #Rosepetaltongue.”

A second photo shows the almost 2-year-old standing in those same rose bushes with her grandma, Simpson’s mom, who looks almost as young as Jessica herself.

In the photo, Maxwell is pointing to her grandmother’s shirt, while holding what looks to be a pink toy golf club. “Is that a kitty cat on your shirt GiGi”? Simpson wrote.

The blonde Texas native also said she’s toned down her image a lot since becoming a mom, and she tries her best not to wear clothes that are too revealing. Of course, she still likes to look sexy every now and then, but she approaches it in a much different way, as these days she goes for a more classier appearance.

“I find myself going for more sophisticated looks, but I do think that’s kind of trendy right now–just a classier looking woman,” said Simpson in a 2013 interview. “I love to show off my curves, but being a mom, I guess I do it in a little more classier way, even though for Halloween I was a milkmaid, but there are moments.”
