Jennifer Love Hewitt gave birth to her daughter Autumn just four short months ago and although she hasn’t lost her baby weight as fast as many other celebrities, she says it is not a priority for her and that she is only interested in subtle changes.

By subtle changes, she means dying her hair blonde. Hewitt recently went lighter and although her new look is very different from what she is used to, she says she loves it. Hewitt’s dark hair and curvy body are two of the things she is well known for and have helped her get some of her most popular television and movie roles.

Hewitt said that now that she is a mother, she is focused on other things and realizes that looks are not the most important thing in the world.

“I really thought I was going to be super consumed with trying to get my body back to the way it was before, and now that I’m a mom, I’m like I don’t want to be that girl again because that girl didn’t have a baby and didn’t have a great husband and didn’t have this blissful existence that I’m having now,” she said in a recent interview.

Hewitt said that although she isn’t worried about losing weight, she does want to get healthy and fit for herself and her new daughter. She does Zumba often and swims to stay in shape. She claims that she chose swimming because it is a low impact activity that allows her to move and stay active without causing strain on her body which is still recovering from pregnancy.

Hewitt’s husband Brian Hallisay has also been helpful in allowing Hewitt to stay active. She admitted that he likes to watch the baby while Hewitt goes out for workouts or to get her nails done.

Jennifer Love Hewitt seems to be happy, regardless of her weight and appears to have found happiness with her new, little family.
