Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin dating rumors still come as a bit of a shock.

However, things may be heating up between the twosome, and it could be only a matter of time before the two step out officially as a couple.

According to Us Weekly, the Coldplay frontman has been wooing the Oscar-winning actress five months after splitting from Gwyneth Paltrow.

“Chris is sweeping Jen off her feet,” a source told the weekly magazine of the Coldplay singer’s affection for Lawrence. “That’s his thing.”

Apparently, the Coldplay singer is making great efforts to seduce the 24-year-old actress through song and romance.

“He writes her songs and loves taking her to private, romantic spots,” said the source.

And if Us sources can be believed, the Hunger Games actress is falling for his tactics.

“The better she gets to know him, the more she likes him,” an insider allegedly told Us. “She says he’s superfunny and sweet.”

The same source said the 34-year-old father of two’s personality is just the tip of the attraction iceberg for Lawrence — she seems to be equally attracted to his talent.

“Jen was blown away at his London show,” the source said. “His music is absolutely part of the attraction!”

Lawrence and Martin have been reportedly dating for about two months, and Lawrence split from her British boyfriend Nicholas Hoult in early August.

The singer and wife Gwyneth Paltrow had a “conscious uncoupling” five months ago after 10 years of marriage. Since then, the former couple have been seen out and about from time to time and were still living together in June. They seem to remain friends despite the split, and sources told Us Paltrow has no objections to this new conscious coupling.

“Her take is, ‘Hey, he could do worse,'” a Paltrow pal told Us of the 41-year-old actress.
