  • Jennifer Garner apparently has a bunch of talents that she has picked up over the years that many may not know about.

In an interview while promoting her new film Danny Collins, Jennifer Garner was asked about her rumored repertoire of obscure talents.

Jennifer Garner said, “Besides saxophone? Besides playing spoons? Besides clogging? My cup runneth over with hidden talents.”

The 43-year-old mother of three and wife of Ben Affleck must be really fun at a party!

Jennifer Garner added, “Anything hillbilly I can do.”

In Danny Collins, Jennifer Garner plays Al Pacino’s daughter-in-law, who is married to his estranged son, played by Bobby Cannavale. Also in the film is 6-year-old Giselle Eisenberg, who stars as their daughter.

It seems Jennifer Garner took tips from little Giselle Eisenberg, as well as Al Pacino.

While Al Pacino would likely be terrifying to most 10-year-old girls, Eisenberg wasn’t at all intimidated.

Jennifer Garner said, “The two of them would improvise with each other at the end of a scene and just go on and on and on because she wasn’t afraid. And so that was just such a great reminder that just because he’s Al Pacino, he’s not being intimidating – he’s being loving. So don’t be afraid of him.”

Jennifer Garner learned some acting tips from her tiny co-star, but her real life kids teach her the useful stuff.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, Jennifer Garner shared some parenting tips with Fallon, who has a two-year-old and a newborn.

Among other advice, she shared a story about her daughter that was hilarious. And relateable.

“The other thing is that they can get clever,” Jennifer Garner said.

She added, “They’re all gonna go nuts when there’s a new baby, right? One way or another, if it isn’t now, it’s going to be later. It’s coming.”

Jennifer Garner said, “We had one who wanted to still be the baby, but she never wanted to say, ‘I want to still be the baby. She wanted to be carried everywhere. What she was telling us was that she was a mermaid. She had a tail and she had flippers and she needed to be carried everywhere, and we bought it.”

She added, “Suddenly I’m lugging this huge kid around and I saw her smiling to herself, smirking… We would get to a staircase and she’d say, ‘Oh my tail, what with my flippers, I can’t make it up that staircase.’”
