  • Nearly five years after she gave birth to her first son Jace, Jenelle Evans of MTV’s Teen Mom 2 welcomed her second baby boy into the world with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith on Sunday, June 29.

Baby Kaiser, which is the German word for ’emperor,’ made his grand entrance at 1:57 pm, weighing in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce.

Jenelle and Nathan recently celebrated their one-year anniversary and announced that they were expecting their first child together back in December. Jenelle revealed at the time that they felt it was right to start a family, and she didn’t want Jace having siblings so far apart.

“Jace is getting older — he’s gonna be almost five — so, it’s like, I don’t want him to be so separated from his siblings,” Jenelle said. Nathan revealed that their new bundle of joy had arrived by tweeting a picture of his tiny feet. “And you thought we were at the beach… Sike!!!” Nathan captioned the photo.

In February, Jenelle explained why she and Nathan chose such an unusual name for their son. “We were basically searching for baby names on the Internet, and we came up with a bunch of different unique ones,” Evans said. “We didn’t want something that everyone else had or had even heard before, even us. So we wanted something different, and we ended up looking up Kaiser.”

While her fans are dying to see more photos of little Kaiser, Jenelle is keeping them under wraps. “Lmao nobody ‘sold’ any pics to any magazines. I have the only pictures of my son and don’t want to post them everywhere,” she tweeted and then added, “This is MY TIME to enjoy with my son, not to please all u haters.”
