Jenelle Evans just can't seem to stay out of trouble.

The Teen Mom 2 star was arrested on Tuesday and booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center about 2 p.m.

However, Jenelle Evans didn't have to wait too long in the pokey.

Jenelle Evans was released about 4 p.m. after being held on a $237.50 bond.

At least this time Jenelle Evans was booked for driving without a license. In the past, it has been much nastier.

Jenelle Evans has previously been arrested for heroin possession, attacking her husband, stalking, harassment, breaking and entering, violating her restraining order, and assault.

In fact, it is partly due to this raucous lifestyle that Jenelle Evans continues to battle her mother for custody of her first son, Jace.

The court date to revisit the case nears as the battle becomes quite bitter.

Jenelle Evans has found some sort of normalcy in going to college and trying to make something of herself. She has also found some stability in her relationship and caring for her baby, Kaiser.

However, it doesn't seem to be enough proof for Jenelle Evans' mom that she can care for Jace.

A friend of Jenelle Evans claimed that she tried to reach out to her mother, but the attempt was in vain.

The friend told Radar, “Jenelle asked her mom if she could simply take Jace to the movies. But, Barbara said no, that they had plans.”

The friend added, “Jenelle told her mom, ‘It’s not to sleep over — it’s just to go see a movie.’”

We don't know if this latest arrest, though it was a fairly minor offense and she claims no fault, will affect Jenelle Evans' case at her upcoming court date, but only time will tell.

Do you think Jenelle Evans has it together enough to get custody of her older son?
