Jana Kramer, country singer and former One Tree Hill actress, and her husband, former NFL tight-end Michael Caussin, welcomed a baby girl into their world on Sunday.

Jolie Rae Caussin was born on January 31 at 4:01 p.m., weighing in at seven pounds, one ounce, and measuring 19.5 inches in length.

“Words can’t even begin to describe how much happiness I’m feeling right now,” Jana Kramer says in an exclusive interview with People magazine. “Holding my healthy and beautiful baby girl in my arms is something that’s truly indescribable. Michael and I are so thankful for this wonderful blessing!”

While it may be hard to believe, given the blessing Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin received already this week, Jana’s week got even better. On Monday she learned she’s nominated for female vocalist of the year for the 2016 ACM Awards.

“What a whirlwind of great surprises and wonderful news,” she says. “I’m overwhelmed with joy after welcoming my beautiful baby girl into the world AND finding out I’ve been nominated for an ACM Award!”

Jana Kramer has had a rather crazy year. She announced her pregnancy in August, in the midst of promoting her album, “thirty one.”

“The hardest part has been performing. I have a barf bag on stage and usually am able to get through the concert, but after every show, my sweet assistant Brittni holds my hair as I puke,” she said at the time.

In November, Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin were lauded at a baby shower for their daughter. They learned the sex of their baby in August, too.

“The shower was everything and more we could have ever dreamed it would be. My favorite part was when Michael and I took in the room and just saw all the love that was surrounding us and our baby girl-to-be,” she said.

In a recent interview with Fit Pregnancy, Jana Kramer said she plans to take just six weeks off with her baby before heading back out on the concert stage.

“I’ve told my management that six weeks after the baby is born, I’ll be ready to go back on the road. Mama’s gotta work,” she says.

Will there be a second child for Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin?

It certainly sounds that way.

“I can honestly say just knowing our little baby girl is inside of me makes it all worth it and I can’t wait to do it all over again,” she says in her People pregnancy blog. “Having said that, it won’t be right away. I need my time with wine again.”

Maybe Jana Kramer will have champagne, too. After all, she still has the ACM Awards to attend, and maybe she’ll emerge from them with even more to celebrate. Th ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas on April 3rd.
