  • Jamie King shared some very personal photos on Instagram on Monday, and the web is buzzing with the news.

The Hart Of Dixie actress, whose best friend is pop star Taylor Swift, announced that the singer will be godmother to her unborn child. The besties posted photos to their respective Instagram accounts of an adorable shoot in which King is lifting up her sweater so that Swift can touch her growing belly. King and husband Kyle Newman are already parents to 16-month old James.

King opened up about her painful struggle to get pregnant to People Magazine, sharing that she suffered several miscarriages before she found out she was having a little boy.

“I’ve had five miscarriages, gone through five rounds of IVF and 26 rounds of IUI. I was in severe pain all the time, emotionally and physically,” King said.

And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kyle_newman -we all love you!!!! Xx

While Swift and King have quickly become very close friends, the media has had a field day with reports that Swift is involved in a feud with Katy Perry. Swift has said that she won’t fuel the fire, however.

“I’m not giving [the media] anything to write about. I’m never going to talk about [Perry] in my interview. It’s not going to happen,” Swift told the Telegraph.
