Not only did the Kyle XY star make the big “3-O” today, but she also guest starred on Tuesday night’s “Yes Men” episode of ABC television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Alexander made a guest appearance on the show when she reprised her role as Lady Sif.

According to Reality TV World, the episode centered around Lady Sift and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents’ battle against Asgardian Lorelei, portrayed by Elena Satine. Alexander has portrayed Lady Sif in two of the box office blockbuster installments of the Thor film series.

During a recent interview with TV Guide, she accredited Clark Gregg for the crossover concept.

Gregg, who is widely known for his role in all of the Marvel Comic films as Agent Phil Coulson, also stars in the ABC adaptation of the Marvel organization. Alexander expressed that she had been receptive to the crossover idea since the very beginning.

“I said, ‘Absolutely, I think it would be a lot of fun and I’d totally be game for it,'” Alexander said. “Of course, two weeks later I got a call. I was like, ‘Ah, Clark  buttered me up.’ But I didn’t have to be buttered up,'” she explained.

However, Alexander explained to Comic Book resources that in the series it was actually Lady Sif who sought the help of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in locating Lorelei.

“Lady Sif is a one-woman army when it comes to hunting someone down. It’s rare that she needs help, but I think the reason she asks S.H.I.E.L.D. for help is  because she respects Earth. She knows Thor does, too,” Alexander told Comic Book resources. “She doesn’t want to wreak havoc across Earth and possibly hurt other  people, so she wants to enlist their help and say, “This is your world. Let’s be  collaborative in how we go about this.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on the Alphabet.
