  • Jaimie Alexander, star NBC’s Blindspot. and Amber Heard, wife of actor Johnny Depp, suffered an embarrassing teleprompter fail while serving as presenters at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, it’s uncertain if Jaimie Alexander and Amber Heard didn’t like the jokes that were written for them on the teleprompter, or if it was moving too slow for on stage conversation to flow naturally.

Jaimie Alexander and Amber Heard took the stage to announce and present the award for Best Actor in a Limited TV Series or Movie. By this point in the evening–following several awkward moments and many bad jokes–people started wondering if the Golden Globes was aired sans any rehearsals at all.

As the two actresses stood on stage, saying nothing, Jaimie Alexander finally asked, “Are we supposed to say something?”

After naming the category’s nominees, it appeared Alexander didn’t want to read what was on the teleprompter.

“Who types this [bleep]?” she asked, appearing perturbed.

Oscar Isaac was eventually (it seemed like several minutes, but in truth was only seconds–embarrassment for those on stage made it feel longer) named the winner of the Golden Globe, for his role in Show Me A Hero. His dignified acceptance speech helped everyone forget those awkward moments Jaimie Alexander and Amber Heard experienced (or caused?) on stage.

Not everyone thought the presentation was a disaster.

ET’s Nancy O’Dell spoke with Jaimie Alexander on the red carpet ahead of the Golden Globes. She was far more personable than she was on stage, answering questions about planning her wedding to Peter Facinelli.

“We’re moving slow because we’re both extremely busy right now, but we’re coming up with some really fun ideas that involve a bit of a stunt,” she said.
