Jada Pinkett Smith spoke recently about the latest round of divorce rumors plaguing her and hubby Will Smith. During an interview with American Way magazine, the Magic Mike XXL actress and mom of Willow and Jaden Smith shared that these divorce rumors are nothing new. In fact the latest insists their divorce is final.

“Every year there’s a new one,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Here we go. Get ready. Are ya holdin’ on tight?'”

Jada Pinkett Smith dished about her growing up years, which included poverty and having two guns pointed in her face. It’s not likely that divorce rumors bother her much at all.

“If you really want to know,” she told the magazine. “I’m thankful for the Hollywood scrutiny, that that’s my problem.”

She added that her problems compared to those of others right now are pretty manageable.

“There are mothers out there losing their sons, their husbands, their daughters,” Jada Pinkett Smith said. “I’m blessed. So scrutinize me. I’ll take that any day over what the majority of my people are dealing with on a daily basis. I dare not complain. Hollywood scrutiny has nothing on what I’ve survived just to be here.”

What a remarkable attitude Jada Pinkett Smith has on something that would drive other Hollywood celebrities crazy. She clearly is a strong woman with a lot of faith in her husband. In fact, she dished about Will Smith during a recent interview with Howard Stern.

“Here’s what I trust: The man that Will is… is a man of integrity. He’s got all the freedom in the world,” she told Stern on his SiriusXM radio show in June. “As long as Will can look himself the mirror and be okay? I’m good.”

Kudos to Jada Pinkett Smith for realizing what is and isn’t worth getting all bent out of shape over. She clearly realizes her good fortune and doesn’t tempt the fates by whining over unnecessary things.

Hopefully Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith continue to enjoy a long and happy marriage.Perhaps they can one day talk of these crazy divorce rumors with their grandkids.
