I’m aware that mankind will never be satisfied with a truly digital photo experience, nor can they handle a world comprised only of actual, printed photos that they can hold in their hands. Got an old photo in an album? Throw it on Facebook. Got a cool Instagram shot? Put in on a sneaker.

I could handle the whole print your Instagram photo on a marshmallow thing, but that’s because you would eventually have to eat the marshmallow and thus erase any and all evidence that you had printed an Instagram photo on a marshmallow. This comes from Adidas, who is preparing an app for this fall that allows people to snap photos and create custom shoes (ZX Fluxes, to be exact). Have a really cool shot of a bowl of soup with a nice Kelvin filter? Think it’s $90 worthy? Cool, print it on a new pair of shoes.
