  • Honey Boo Boo has stolen the hearts of many. Her bubbly personality and redneck behavior make her television show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, hard to ignore. Unfortunately, Honey Boo Boo and her family were recently involved in a car wreck while on a shopping trip.

Although nobody was seriously injured, the family members were taken to the hospital. Honey Boo Boo, Mama June and family members Pumpkin, Jessica and Sugar Bear were all in the car when they were hit by another vehicle. The other vehicle was driven by a 19 year old boy who did not have his lights on.

Mama June released a statement about the accident saying, “As many of you have heard we were in a car accident last night. It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck. We are definitely really sore today, but our top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin’s birthday. She turned 14 today and no matter how sore we feel we are going to go out and celebrate. As always we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes.”

She went on to describe the injuries the family received, “Pumpkin went into a full panic attack and has severe bruising on her chest from the seat belt,” June, who suffered whiplash plus a back and a neck sprain, explained. “Alana hit her head on the glass.” Sugar Bear has a back sprain and was driving the family vehicle at the time of the accident.

The fun loving family has no plans to let the car accident ruin their good time. They are planning to celebrate Pumpkin’s 14th birthday while recovering from their bumps a bruises.
