Hilary Duff is one of a few child stars who did not battle drugs, eating disorders or alcohol abuse.

She has managed to keep her life and career together and seems to be happy and focused.

In spite of her clean image, when Duff revealed a temporary tattoo on her upper arm, rumors began swirling and people claimed that she had converted to scientology and was headed down the same path as actor Tom Cruise.

Duff laughed off these rumors and tweeted an explanation about her tattoo and its meaning.

Although the tattoo rumors were false, Duff was happy to see her name in the tabloids for something other than her relationship.

Earlier this year, Duff announced that she was divorcing her husband of three years.

Even though the two have split, they are still spotted together often and many people wonder if they are getting back together.
Duff said that although the couple could get back together, right now they are focused on taking care of their two-year-old son Luca.

Duff explained the situation saying,

“I think we got to a point where we were like, ‘We really need to honor happiness and whatever that is,’ and however we need to sort that out or work that out, we’re doing that,” she said. “We love each other so much and we love spending time together. So when you see us out it’s not just for Luca, it’s because we make plans and we hang out. And we don’t know what our future looks like right now, but we’re both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy.”
