She celebrated her 16th birthday with a party thrown by her parents, at the Four Seasons Hotel in L.A.’s Westlake Village. Ava tweeted about her birthday.

Heather and Richie may have had their differences, but they were able to come together to spend time with their daughter and throw he ran amazing party. Photos show the family smiling and enjoying themselves. Sambora told Access Hollywood Live that the two were in “a great place” in their relationship.

“We’re very good. It’s actually even beyond for [our daughter’s] sake,” he said, noting that they “go out all the time” as a family. “Heather and I really respect each other, and we’ve become better friends, I think, now that we’re not married.”

Ava has only inherited her parents’ good looks and easy going sense of humor, she also has her mother’s acting ambition. Ava says she knew she wanted to be an actress at a young age and always wanted to be on the set with her mother when she was filming Melrose Place.

“Ever since I was five or six, I’ve wanted to be an actress,” she explained. “I loved attention and would always try to be onstage and in front of people. It was easy to figure out what I wanted to be.”

Now that Ava is 16, perhaps more roles are in her future and the aspiring actress will get to live her dream of becoming as famous as her parents. Heather and Richie seems to support their daughter in all that she does and Ava seems to be doing great in her career so far.
