  • Hayley Hasselhoff, the 21-year-old daughter of Baywatch‘s David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach, made her plus-size catwalk debut Friday at London’s Plus Size Fashion Weekend.

Hasselhoff has been modeling since she was 14, but Friday was her first time walking the runway in a plus-size fashion show. London’s Plus Size Fashion Weekend is in its second year, taking place the same time as the London Fashion Week. The two showcases followed last week’s U.S. Fashion Week in New York.

The size 12-14 Hasselhoff spoke to the media at the event, saying, “Calling it ‘plus-size’ doesn’t do it justice. It’s about women with curves, and women of all shapes and sizes.”

The plus-size showcase includes looks from the categories of bridal wear, swimwear, and lingerie. According to The Associated Press, the average British woman’s clothing size is now 14-16, which is the U.S. equivalent of 10-12.

Of the fashion events centered on models wearing sizes 0-2, Hayley said, “I just hope one day [events like this] will get the same respect.”

Father David Hasselhoff was reportedly planning on attending his daughter’s show in London, but was forced to cancel at the last minute due to “work commitments,” though daughter Hayley said of her father’s absence, “I’m not bothered either way. He’s always in my heart.”

Besides modeling, Hayley is also pursuing a possible acting career; the gorgeous blonde recently took some time away from modeling to focus on acting classes. In 2010 Hasselhoff appeared in the short-lived ABC Family series Huge, which centered on a group of teens at a weight-loss camp.
